Table Cell Merge Test

Instructions

This page demonstrates the new table cell merging functionality.

• Step 1: Click the "Insert Table" button (table icon) in the toolbar
• Step 2: Create a table (e.g., 4 rows × 4 columns)
• Step 3: Click inside any table cell to select it
• Step 4: Use the merge buttons to merge cells:
• ←⊔ - Merge with cell to the left
• ⊔→ - Merge with cell to the right
• ↑⊔ - Merge with cell above
• ⊔↓ - Merge with cell below
• Note: The merge buttons are located in the "table-merge" group in the toolbar
• Tip: Try merging multiple cells to create complex table layouts!

Example Use Cases:

• Create header rows that span multiple columns
• Create vertical headers that span multiple rows
• Build complex table layouts with merged cells
